What do you bring to the event normally?: We will bring the equipment necessary to provide sound to the venue (usually computer, speakers, speaker stands, mixer, lights, cables, etc) We also bring our own table, chairs, and table covers.
Is it necessary to tip the DJ?: The DJ will be paid from the money provided by the customer as agreed on the contract. We do not expect a tip or additional money. However, I would encourage all of our clients to tip our guys if they do a good job, they will appreciate it!
When should I pay the final balance?: We take a 25% deposit up front, after that, no payment will be due until the date of your event. All clients can choose to pay early, or take a payment plan.
What kind of equipment do you use?: We use all professional grade gear. Electro Voice, Yamaha, and Yorkville Speakers, Mackie and Yorkville Mixers, Top of the line Lenovo, Asus, and Samsung Laptops, Shure Microphones, & Chauvet, Venue, & American DJ Lighting.
How many members of your staff will attend my event?: Usually, two. One MC, one DJ. At times we may have more for set up or take down help...and in some cases only one (very unlikely, unusual circumstances).
What determines the price of an event?: Date, Location, and Services Requested. Certain dates are more difficult to cover due to holidays, vacations, and other circumstances. We do not add travel fees, setup fees, equipment fees, or any fees. Everything is included in the initial quote.
Are there any limitations on the type of music you will play?: Absolutely not, we will play the agreed genres and songs discussed at the meetings, regardless of choice. However, we will NOT arbitrarily play a song that is not appropriate for the event.
What do you wear to my event?: Usually we leave this up to the customer, if there is nothing specified, we will dress for the event as we feel is appropriate. We also inquire as to what the guests will be wearing.
How often will we meet and how do the meetings work?: Our first contact will be via phone, email , or message involving the quote and required details. We will then schedule a meeting to further discuss details, take a deposit, and book the date. After that we will have communication as needed involving details, questions, and just simply checking in with each other. Then, roughly a week or so before we wedding, we will meet again and go over the final details, schedule of events, and playlists.
How do I pay for my event?: We accept payment in the form of Cash, Check, Visa, or Mastercard. Check and card payments are due the day before the event to ensure the payment processes properly. Cash payments are due at the event. We require a 25% deposit at date of booking for all events. Once the 25% deposit is paid, we will reserve your date.
Will i receive a discount?: We encourage referrals. Our best advertising is word of mouth. We will give a discount on your next event for every referral who places a deposit on an event. We also offer discounts to ANY police, fire, EMS, first responder, or military service member (past or present). This discount will differ between clients due to the services requested and involvement in said service.
What if I cancel the event?: If the event is cancelled by the customer before services are provided, the remaining 75% balance will not be paid to us, however the 25% deposit is non-refundable.
What type of music do you offer?: We offer music from every genre, dating back to the 1920's and we update our library weekly. Country, Swing, Hip-Hop, Dance, Techno, Rock, Classical, Oldies, Instrumental, Jazz, R&B, Alternative, Metal, Rap, Top 40, & more. If we don't have it, we can get it.
Will the DJ need to be considered a guest for food or drinks at my event?: This is optional to all clients. Normally, we do eat and drink with the guests, however, we will make arrangements not to if needed.
